Dr. Shepherd is a native Texan from the Beaumont area. He attended Rice and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Dr. Shepherd began his professional career by opening a private practice in Spring Branch and Katy. He now lives and practices full time in Katy. Dr. Shepherd is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, The Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Each year he attends numerous continuing education course to bring his patients the highest quality of dental care. Dr. Shepherd has volunteered his time at Casa de Amigos, Center for the Retarded and other charitable organizations in the Houston area. Outside of his practice, he enjoys scuba diving, flying radio controlled helicopters, and cooking.

Edna and Annabelle will help book appointments and answer any questions or concerns you have about your dental visit in a concise and understandable way. They can simplify confusing dental insurance questions and help you maximize your benefits to keep your co-payments within your budget. Dental assistants Maria and Gina will do everything they can to help you feel relaxed during your appointment. They can answer questions about the treatment and explain recommended postoperative (after treatment) care. Please feel free to ask them anything.
